Collection: Shanthamani Muddaiah

Shanthamani Muddaiah, born in 1967, is an art graduate from Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts, Mysore, with a postgraduate degree in Painting from MS University, Baroda. In 2004, she studied Paper-Making in Glasgow, Scotland, with a Charles Wallace Scholarship. Her significant solo shows include "Neither Tree nor Ash" in Paris (2016), "Reflections" in Bangalore (2010), and "Carbon Myths" in the USA (2010). She has exhibited widely, including at the Kochi Muziris Biennale (2014) and India Art Fair (2014). Awards and fellowships include a National Senior Fellowship (2012-14) and Junior Fellowship (2006-08) from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, New Delhi, and the Inlaks Take Off Grant (1992). Shanthamani currently lives and works in Bangalore, Karnataka.
