Veronique Chagnon Burke

Independent Scholar, Co-Founder of WADDA [Women Art Dealers Digital Archives] 
Throughout her career, Véronique Chagnon-Burke has taught a wide range of subjects in art market studies and art history at Queens College, Parsons School of Design, and Hunter College, among other institutions. Her museum and research positions have included work at the Museum of Modern Art and the College Art Association, and she has also worked at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris. From 2002 to 2021, she was the Director of Christie’s Education in New York, where she taught the history of the art market and art history, more specifically classes on French art and on women artists. She received her Ph.D. from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York, her M.A. from the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University, and her Licence from the Université Paris-Sorbonne. She is also a graduate of the Ecole du Louvre in museum studies.
She has been focusing on organizing academic conferences which bring together art history and art market studies, such as Celebrating Female Agency in the Art in June 2018, and Women Art Dealers 1940-1990 in May 2019. Her current collaborative project is the Women Art Dealers Digital Archive (WADDA), a digital platform that maps the role women art dealers played in the institutionalization of modern and contemporary art. 
Since leaving Christie’s Education, Véronique has gone back to academic research and writing, as well as curating contemporary art exhibitions [In the Fleshhttps://www.emergeconverge.com/exhibitions/in-the-flesh, 2023]. In January 2024, she curated She.Her.Hers, an exhibition of ten women artists for the Cultural Council for Palm Beach Countyhttps://www.palmbeachculture.com/council-events/council-gallery-exhibitions/she/. She continues teaching and collaborating with Adventures in Art as the lead scholar. In September 2022, she was elected co-chair of The International Art Market Studies Association [TIAMSA]. She is a section editor for the Art Market Dictionary [BAM, Bloomsbury Art Market], an online tool published by Bloomsbury Press in London in 2023.

Yamini Telkar

An Indian art specialist who is the curator of Bangalore International Airport’s art Program, previously she has curated exhibitions and written on art and artists. Yamini has a unique work trajectory having worked in the art industry in auction houses and private galleries as well as institutions and academia for over 30 years. She is an expert in Modern and Contemporary Art and Folk Art Practice in India. Yamini is well-versed in art history and is passionate about making it accessible to a wider audience and is the co-founder of ArtKyk, to achieve this objective. She has a strong understanding of collections management and advises on building collections.
Yamini has a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) focused in Art and Aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, M A in Ancient Culture, St. Xaviers College, Mumbai, and BFA, Sir. J. J. School of Art, Mumbai.

Lina Vincent (Curatorial Advisor)

Lina Vincent is an independent art historian and curator with two decades experience in arts management. She is committed to socially engaged practices that reflect in the multi-disciplinary projects she has developed and participated in. Under her consultancy LVAC, the focus areas include arts education, printmaking history and practice, the documentation of living traditions, and environmental consciousness in the arts. 
Since 2021 she heads the ‘Sunaparanta Art Initiator Lab’, (S.A.I.L) mentorship program, Goa and has co-curated ‘Goa Familia’, archival photography project, Serendipity Arts Foundation since 2019. She concluded the development of ‘Sandooka – The Living Museum of Kodava Culture,’ virtual museum commissioned by India Foundation for the Arts (IFA). She is an Associate Curator with ARTPORT_making waves – global arts program for climate-action. Lina regularly curates exhibitions with galleries across India and contributes to publications on art history and contemporary cultural practices.
She holds a BFA in printmaking from Bangalore University and MFA in Art History from the same institution.
