Overview

Shantanu Das, a former photojournalist for the Times of India Group, has cultivated a rich portfolio over his career.

His fascination with photography began in childhood, sparked by his uncle's Agfa Click 3 camera. Forbidden to use it, young Das imagined a magical figure inside creating the captured images, a sense of wonder that still influences his work today.

Das has held notable solo exhibitions, including Parsi: A Timeless Legacy at Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai (2019), and Udvada: A Parsi Village at the IIC Annex Gallery, Delhi (2016). His photography explores themes of history, culture, and timelessness.

Currently based in Mumbai.
