Collection: Pragati Dalvi Jain

1984
Overview
Pragati Dalvi Jain is a multidisciplinary artist with a decade-long practice of addressing social and cultural divides. Her conceptual, research-driven works spotlight marginalized individuals and systemic blind spots that normalize societal "othering."
Through projects such as her Harvard fellowship on matrophobia and loneliness in motherhood, and Tin Soldiers, a performance art piece raising awareness about Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), she examines identity, disability, and societal prejudices. Her art spans painting, performance, and conceptual mediums, exploring the interplay between body, mind, and identity.
Pragati emphasizes self-awareness and personal accountability as cornerstones of leadership, advocating for dialogue, empathy, and coexistence to enrich societal harmony.
Based in Bangalore.
