Overview
Pahul Singh's practice involves the exploration of the book form and its intersections with language, translation, and re-authorship. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting at Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan and a Master of Visual Arts (MVA) from The Faculty of Fine Arts at MSU Baroda. In 2022, she was honoured with the Emerging Artist Award presented by the Foundation of Indian Contemporary Art and in 2019-20. She has held exhibitions such as Embark IV and V, Ark Foundation for the Arts in Vadodara; Perceptual Transfers, video program, VAICA as part of Mycelial Legacies, curated by Najrin Islam in New Delhi; States of Disarray: Practice as Restitution, Kochi-Muziris Student's Biennale, among many others.
Currently based in Jaipur, India.
