Collection: Bhavani G S

Bhavani GS is a multi-disciplinary artist from Kodagu– Karnataka. Trained as a painter, she works with moving images, photography, and site-specific land art. Besides showing her ecologically conscious works in galleries and festivals, she develops interactive works in public spaces to raise awareness for the natural environment.

 Among her long-term projects, she has sustained an artistic and research-based engagement with the River Cauvery and its tributaries since 2009. She has had several solo and group shows notable: Organic Reverie, Gallery Time & Space, Bangalore, 2024; Asian Art Biennale, Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2022;  and Whispers of The Woods, Vietnam Fine Arts Association, Hanoi, Vietnam, 2008.

Currently based in Bengaluru and Kodagu.
