An Indian art specialist who is the curator of Bangalore International Airport’s art Program, previously she has curated exhibitions and written on art and artists. Yamini has a unique work trajectory having worked in the art industry in auction houses and private galleries as well as institutions and academia for over 30 years.
She is an expert in Modern and Contemporary Art and Folk Art Practice in India. Yamini is well-versed in art history and is passionate about making it accessible to a wider audience and is the co-founder of ArtKyk, to achieve this objective. She has a strong understanding of collections management and advises on building collections.
Yamini has a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) focused in Art and Aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, M A in Ancient Culture, St. Xaviers College, Mumbai, and BFA, Sir. J. J. School of Art, Mumbai.
