Sarban Chowdhury

Sarban Chowdhury (b. 1992, Kolkata, West Bengal) completed his Bachelor ofFine Arts (2014) and Master of Fine Arts (2016) from Govt. College of Art & Craft, Kolkata. Currently he is pursuing his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Jodhpur. 

He is also an Assistant Professor in Fashion &Lifestyle Accessories at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Jodhpur. Sarban has been invited to symposiums and art residency programs within India and abroad, including Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue inJingdezhen, China (2024 & 2023), 54th International Ceramic SculptureSymposium in Boleslawiec, Poland (2018), 4th International wood fire ceramicsymposium in Gavrilov, Russia (2017), Museum of Goa in Goa (2023), Art Icholin Maihar (2021), National Ceramic Camp at Lalit Kala Akademi, Kolkata (2018),Piramal Art Foundation in Mumbai (2016), Uttarayan Art Foundation inVadodara (2016) et cetera.
