Position: Deputy leader of Performance Art Bergen, project manager of PAB Open Festival
Bio: Mia Øquist (b. 1980) lives and works in Bergen, Norway. She has a master’s degree from KMD, a bachelor from NTNU Faculy of Art and Architecture in Trondheim, and an exchange program at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden. She has performed in Norway, Europe, The United States and China. She works with a weekly performance art project in public spaces in Norway. Øquist has worked in Bergen Kunsthall for many years, has been project manager for several PAB Open performance festivals, with 40-100 artists in the program. She has been in the board of PAB for the last ten years, where she has been involved in many of the organisation’s projects.
