Heeral Trivedi was born in Mumbai in 1973 and developed an early passion for the finer arts, which led her to pursue admission at the esteemed art college in Vadodara. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Painting from Maharaja Sayajirao University, in 1995, Heeral made her debut in the Mumbai art scene with a two-person show titled Staircase Full of Dreams at Prithvi Gallery in 1996.

Over the past 25 years, her artistic journey has evolved into a strong personal language. There continues an ongoing tension between abstraction and figuration, which remains a central concern in her work, infusing her creations with a sense of personal authenticity.
Her recent solo exhibition, The Magic Thread, was held in Mumbai (2023/24), and she has participated in a significant number of group exhibitions over the last 30 years including My Peeking, Red Bra Strap (2025), Selves in Parallax (2024) curated by Heeral Trivedi, and Amano Iwato (2024) at APRE Art House, Mumbai.
