Georgina Maddox

Georgina Maddox, a curator & journalist is based in Delhi. Her work has appeared in publications like STIR world, MASH Take on Art, Art India, The Hindu, The Indian Express, Outlook magazine, The Times of India, Mumbai Mirror, and Mail Today. She has worked on two short films: Bombay Longing with Shalini Kantaya, a US-based diva, and No Fixed Address with artist Tejal Shah on the camera. She has also curated several exhibitions and written catalogue essays for artists like Sunil Padwal, Shilpa Gupta, Sanjeev Sonpimpare, and Saba Hasan, to name a few. Her essay on Bhupen Khakhar and Amrita Sher-Gil, “Challenging the Hetero-norm in Art,” was published in a Seagull publication titled The Phobic and the Erotic: The Politics of Sexualities in Contemporary India; edited by Brinda Bose and Subhabrata Bhattacharyya.
