Ria Sing is a Mumbai-based writer and director, known for her socially relevant, emotion-driven, and character-focused ad films, that are mostly female-centric. Awarded Impact’s Top 10 Ad Directors in India for 2024, Ria has quickly established a distinct space for her voice in the industry.

Raised in the small town of Howrah, West Bengal, Ria became captivated by the world of cinema from a young age. Today, she has forged her path as a filmmaker who tells heartfelt stories. A self-taught writer, she moves her audience with her ability to craft emotions into compelling film and ad scripts.
Ria's work is imbued with emotional dexterity and a strong, distinct female gaze. Not confined by genres, she has made music videos, short films, written campaigns, directed branded content, and is currently working on her feature film. Her journey began with a music video titled ‘Breakfree’ for When Chai Met Toast, and it was her short film for Tinder, ‘Closure’—a film exploring consent in long-term relationships, friendships, and casual encounters—that opened the door to feature films for her.
She has created special films for brands including Bumble, Tinder, Tanishq, Cred, Zomato, Black & White, Metro, Franklin Templeton, and more.
