'I worked at APRE Art house as a film and media intern in 2021. This being my first professional internship, gave me much needed exposure to how documentaries work from start to finish. Along with another intern, I made beat sheets for production days, shot lists, schedules and storyboards. During my time at APRE, we interviewed 12 mixed media artists from all over the country, documented their studio and artwork and made documentaries for each artist. It was life changing to be exposed to so much creative talent, drawing inspiration from them and getting to know their artistic process. As a film student at college right now, I think this experience was really important for me to shape my creative outlook. Prerna is highly driven and motivated to have work done. I think she is an amazing leader, realistic with deadlines and understanding with hurdles. APRE has great potential.'
