Rendered in a subdued, near-monochromatic register, these images displace the familiarity of the visible world, unfolding instead as expansive, interiorised terrains. The intermittent presence of the artist’s body within these spaces introduces a quiet tension between immersion and estrangement, where landscape becomes both site and condition of perception.

In Grandmother’s Funeral (2024), he engages with the rituals surrounding death, approaching them not as fixed cultural forms but as thresholds between the known and the unknowable.
