Overview
Nalinakshya Talukdar, born in Assam in 1999, holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art (2021) and a Master's in Visual Art from M.S. University of Baroda (2023). Now based in Baroda, Gujarat, he explores themes of Mother Nature embracing human-made abandoned wrecks, viewing them as her ornaments that are given new life. His primary medium is woodcuts in printmaking.
Nalinakshya has participated in various art events and residencies, including Space Studio, Baroda (2024); MAIR by APRE Art House, Mumbai (2024); Bengaluru International Print Exchange (2023); Manorama India Printmaking House (2023); and Taiwan International Print Biennale (2024).
Currently based in Baroda.
