Collection: Bansi Dholakiya

Bansi Dholakiya, born in 1988 in Jamnagar, Gujarat, reimagines the diverse terrains of Gujarat—paddy fields, deserts, farms, and salty plains—into poetic compositions that reflect their natural variations. She holds a Master of Visual Arts in Printmaking from M.S. University of Baroda and a Bachelor's in Painting from S.C.N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad.

Her accolades include the Upadhya Foundation Grant (2023), Prafulla Dahanukar Grant (2022), and the All India Bronze Medal Award from the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation (2021). Notable exhibitions include Mati and Urban Echoes at Baroda (2024), and From Where All That Sweat? in Kerala (2022). She also participated in the KalaKriti Art Residency, Hyderabad (2019).

Currently based in Baroda.
