This exhibition explores the profound beauty found in the simplicity of everyday moments. It encourages viewers to engage with their surroundings more deeply, to embrace the poetry of the everyday, and to recognize the transformative power of the seemingly ordinary. It offers a unique interpretation of everyday moments.
Drawing inspiration from the works of French philosopher Gaston Bachelard and his exploration of the phenomenology of everyday life, this exhibition delves into the essence of the quotidian experience. Through the lens of Bachelard's concept of the "poetics of space," as well as the ideas of the Situationist International movement and their emphasis on the dérive, or aimless drift, "The Poetics of the Everyday" invites viewers to reconsider the familiar and discover the extraordinary within the mundane.
